OVERVIEW

Evergreen Patience, also called Alpine, is a timeless solo card game adored for its simplicity and tactical nature. Employ a standard deck of cards to construct four foundation piles, one for each suit, organized in ascending order from Ace to King. By carefully strategizing and making calculated moves, uncover concealed cards and complete the tableau.


DIRECTIONS

  1. Setup:
  • A shuffled pack is arranged into seven columns.
  • The first column contains one card (face-up), the second column has two cards (one face-up, one face-down), and so forth, with the seventh column having seven cards (one face-up).
  1. Gameplay:
  • Construct Tableau: Arrange cards in descending order (King to Ace), alternating colors (e.g., Red 7 on Black 8).
  • Reveal Cards: Shift face-up cards to expose hidden ones.
  • Transfer to Foundation: Move cards to the four foundation piles, sorted by suit in ascending order (Ace to King).
  • Draw from the Stock Pile when no moves are available in the tableau.
  1. Objective:
  • Organize all cards into the foundation piles to emerge victorious.
